United we Stand

This time is historic. Today we have seen the beginning of the end of 30 years of injustice, corruption and torture coming to an end. Today we have witnessed the beginning of tomorrow. Today we have to unite for future of us, of our children and the entire nation. So let us all come together to vote in unison, to vote out the 30 years of suffering, the torture and the enslavement of us Maldivians. Let us all unite and say no to another time of hardship and injustice.

Dear all, Tell your friends, your parents, your loved ones and the ones who love you that this is your future, your children’s future that is at stake if we elect Maumoon for another five years. And in fact it is not another five years that we are going to lose; it will be the future of our nation and the generations  to come. Beg everyone you know who has been imprisoned by fear of this regime that the time has come to say NO.

Let us all unite for the future, for happier times and prosperity. Let us all unite and sing our song, that the ballot box is mightier than the bullet.

Let us all join our hands…

democracy has come. dictatorship is gone. powers are distributed. independant commissions are functioning. election cannot be rigged. parties are here. freedom of speech is guaranteed. all under a dictator's watch and with his blessing?

hassan saeed said reform agenda has failed. anni said maumoon will not allow reform to take place. but the 'dictator' has proved he is committed to reform and will continue the process.

if anni can change his image of an unruly street activist to a seasoned politician, why cant maumoon change from a dictator to a democrat? we know anni is acting under the watchful eyes of an Aussie called James McGrath who happens to be paid by the British Conservative Party. (http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,24477125-2703,00.html)as soon as McGrath leaves the Maldives, our politician will forget the dialogue and become the same old unruly street kid.

anni is good to lead an opposition to the government but he isnt gonna get my blessing to be our next president.

The public is not concerned what kind of a leader Anni is.But they are concerned about getting rid of an old dictator who has turned in to a whinning baby.We are willing to give Anni another chance than someone who could not do much in 30 years. Some one who made us drug addicts. Can you all read auditor generals report for Gods sake.

If the public is not concerned what kind of leader Anni is, why should the public be concerned what kind of leader Gayyoom is?

The public is concerned not to let our leader be an old DICTATOR who has turned in to a baby, with a babys mind.

Democracy has always been in Maldives. We just added a few more freedoms. The best part is Maumoon gave it to us FOC.

Lets us all work together and elect him again and again with a huge majority.
